The Job Opportunity
The ideal candidate will provide a technical expert view on all matters related to your technical area (e.g. electrical, mechanical, electronics, building management systems, fire alarm systems, HVAC, etc) with indirect budget responsibility of circa 5M AED per annum.
Key accountabilities
- Specifying technical requirements and standard for new and existing equipment.
- Providing input to new equipment and projects to ensure optimum life cycle costs.
- Defining the right technical skills to execute the maintenance plans.
- Ensuring that all developed maintenance plans are safety and regulatory compliant.
- Ensuring that all developed maintenance plans done by contractors are compliant in terms of safety, regulatory and operational compliant with dans requirements.
- Identifying causes of failure and implementing corrective measures
What we are looking for in our candidates:
- Valid Driving License
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Project Management; Strong PC skills, Microsoft Office applications
- Capable of developing close working relationships with the client and ensuring the mutual success for all stakeholders and longevity of the contract.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills at both an individual and team level
Specific requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering
- Knowledge in related applicable engineering disciplines / systems (eg. LV, MV electrical, HVAC, Mechanic Systems, Special Systems, Instrumentation & Control, Structural, Airfield and associated)
- Clear understanding of BMS, and building and fire regulations
- Equipment Criticality and Risk based Maintenance approaches, such as FMECA, REM; Root Cause Analysis
- Maintenance Best Practices; Cost Manageme
