Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Engineer who focusses and specializes on a Surveillances long range Radar and short range Radars with Ground Surveillances radar and WAM/MLAT systems technical expertise and support to the OES, ATC and ATE operations.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to work on tight deadlines and make correct decisions under pressure, attention to detail, excellet communication and organisational skills and has a highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving and streamlining complex work process.
This role is part of the Air Traffic Engineering Team and will be based in Dubai Air Navigation Services (dans).
Key Accountabilities (Key elements of the job)
Provide support to ensure provision of efficient and safe day to day operations and deliver an effective CNS services in compliance with project requirements, applicable rules and regulations.
Conduct work activities in a safe manner and in line with dans Safety and Quality Management Systems processes and procedures and appropriate GCAA civil aviation regulatory requirements.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities on ATE systems and equipment at DXB, DWC or EFTA and attend to any faults in support of the ATE Shift personnel in accordance with published CNS procedures for systmes they are the specialist for and/or hold the competence on.
Mentor and assist in the development of shift personnel to enhance their knowledge and capability. Provide training and impart information to engineers and technicians where necessary.
Develop and maintain documentation such as maintenance procedures; technical manuals; OJT and Competency Assessment scripts; Configuration management (software, firmware and hardware); and drawings for all of the systems within specialist areas at DXB and DWC in compliance with CARs and all other relevant policies, procedures and regulations
Contributes to Stakeholder and Customer Service levels through development, awareness of and compliance with SLA's by ensuring all related audit findings or meeting actions are resolved and closed within the desired timeframe.
Specific Requirements (What we are looking for in our candidates)
Ideally a degree holder or higher diploma in Electronics Engineering from a recognized university or training establishment.
Demonstrable as Air Traffic engineer specializing in Surveillance Systems.
Relevant certificates of competency on ATE systems and equipment that meet international or national regulatory standards. All Level 2 competencies should be current.
Hold an OJTI qualification or be prepared to gain this qualification
