Senior Finance Business Partner- Enabling Services & Growth

Location: Various locations- London, Hook, Solihull, home based

The key purpose of the Senior Finance Business Partner is to support Serco business leaders to deliver profitable and sustainable growth for complex services. The Senior Finance Business Partner is responsible for providing dedicated, commercial, and financial decision support aligned to strategic and customer priorities & and improve shareholder value. 


This role will have financial responsibility for circa £160m and support the newly formed Enabling Services division as well as our Growth function & is an integral position in supporting our leaders deliver cost efficient services to enable profitable and sustainable growth for our contracts. Enabling Services manages a significant number of the Groups critical suppliers, and you will play a key role in supporting the Enabling Services Director and their direct reports in driving value from those partnerships to deliver maximum value across the group.


This role covers financial and commercial leadership across Enabling Services, People and Culture, Digital and Technology Services teams, who work closely and collaboratively with some of the most senior stakeholders within the business to drive efficiency and performance in the services we deliver. 

 

What you'll need to do the job

 

-    A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA etc) 
-    You will have worked in a similar Senior Financial Business Partner, or Financial Controller, position within an Outsourcing business or centralised internal delivery model for a large, complex organisation.
-    You'll have experience of supporting a complex business unit with a variety of service lines and competing business challenges
-    This role has a heavy emphasis on leadership, both to the direct team and the wider business. It is expected that you will be able to demonstrate your leadership style and influence.
-    Limited travel between Hook, London, & Solihull expected to be 2 times a month on average.
