This role requires a strategic and driven individual to support our Senior Management and operational teams by ensuring compliance across HSQE policies and guidelines. You'll lead the development of a culture of safety, quality, and resilience within the organization, enhancing our integrated management system and contributing to our long-term success

 

As a Senior HSQE Manager, you'll play a key role in building a safer, more resilient, and compliant environment across our organization. Your expertise in Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) assurance will be instrumental in upholding our high standards and achieving certifications across ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001.

 

The hiring for this position is subject to contract award.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Safety Assurance Leadership: Oversee all Safety Assurance areas, including Health, Safety, Environment, Risk Management, and Quality.

  • Integrated Management System: Ensure compliance and develop the company's management system, improving processes and maintaining accurate records.

  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct compliance reviews to ensure alignment with ISO standards and continually enhance practices.

  • Risk Management: Oversee risk registers and manage contractor safety protocols, ensuring a proactive safety approach.

  • Legislative Compliance: Maintain strong relationships with Abu Dhabi authorities, ensuring compliance with local HSE codes and regulations.

  • Safety Culture and Training: Develop HSQE training programs, lead the CSR and Welfare committee, and champion a culture of continuous improvement in safety.

  • Operational Documentation and Incident Response: Oversee fire safety practices, conduct accident investigations, lead the safety committee, and update business continuity plans.

 

Specific Requirements 

  • Minimum of 10 years in an HSQE/Assurance role, with 5+ years in a senior Fire Rescue Services management position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and experience as a Lead Auditor.
  • Proven success in team management, building collaborative relationships, and driving safety culture across teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent command of English.
  • Degree in a relevant field or NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Certifications in ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 auditing
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management (preferred)
  • Business Continuity Management certification (BIA/BCP) advantageous
