Senior / Principal Analyst

Important: Please note that this position is open exclusively to UK nationals and is not available to candidates with foreign or dual nationality due to level of security clearance required.

Working: The role is office/hybrid based with occasional travel to other company/customer's sites in the UK or abroad. Office site presence, anticipated 2-3 days onsite, depending on project needs.

This is an opportunity for a Senior / Principal Analyst to join a growing and successful team of 15 fellow Analysts.

Key Responsibilities

Analysis
Performance Modelling, Design Trade-offs, and Product Development
Support to Trials
Reporting and Collaboration

Experience needed:

A relevant Bachelor's degree (a higher degree is preferred) in Physics, Mathematics, or another STEM field (consideration will be given to other STEM degrees if the required skillset is demonstrated).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly and concisely to both expert and non-expert audiences.
Proficiency in the use of mathematical and scientific modeling tools, such as MATLAB.
Proven ability to set and meet deadlines effectively.

Commercial experience in one or more of the following areas:

Operational Analysis
Trials Data Analysis
Data Science
Performance Prediction Modelling, Design Trade-offs, and Product Development
Performance Requirement Interpretation and Analysis
Acoustics
Modelling and simulation
Algorithm Development
Signal Processing

Experience in the following would be desirable:

Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous
Experience in the Naval / Maritime domain would be advantageous.
