Senior Security Officer

Are you looking for the next step in your Security career? Can you keep calm under pressure?  We are looking for full time Senior Security Officers.  This will be a full time role working 37hrs per week / 52 weeks per year. You will be based at 1 of our campuses.

The overall requirement of the Senior Security Officer to supervise the security team to ensure the day-to-day security and reception duties are completed across the college and ensure that premises are safe and secure. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to carry out basic maintenance tasks and be able to ensure the team complete the tasks.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Ensure effective security across all three campuses, managing training and deployment of staff.
• Liaising with relevant departments to ensure there is a safe environment for  our students and staff
• Provide a full range of caretaking duties including room layouts and maintenance
• Provide excellent customer service both face to face and when taking calls on the switchboard
• Liaising with the head of Estates and Estates Deputies at all campuses, to ensure shifts and on call (on a rota basis, working evenings, weekends and supporting events) is arranged.
• Provide first class customer services, welcoming students, staff and visitors to the campus.
• Operate CCTV and other security systems daily.
• Working shifts – AM and PM.
