Job title: Senior Supply Chain Procurement Manager

Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience, executive level package to include car allowance + bonus

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and managing a team of professional Supply Chain Staff and Managers in the delivery of the Supply Chain Functional Strategy and Plan, specifically in support of the area / portfolio that has been assigned to the individual
  • Providing support and assistance in the development of key strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction (internally and externally). Provide strategic direction / vision in all areas of responsibility to achieve business objectives in line with corporate requirements
  • Supporting the delivery of the product by ensuring that direct reports have purpose and clarity and are empowered to meet key delivery targets on time and within budget
  • Actively promoting cross functional working to augment and achieve key knowledge transfer and promote best working practices across the business

Your skills and experiences:

  • MCIPS/ CIPS or equivalent level relevant experience, professional qualification
  • Experience in Supply Chain management
  • Experience of Leading and managing a team of professional Supply Chain Staff and Managers
  • Proven business executive skills

The Supply Chain Procurement team:

You will be responsible for the delivery of the Submarines unit Supply Chain requirements, ensuring materials and services are provided within budget, to schedule and in full compliance with the technical and quality requirements. Working as part of a team of 20 you will be discharging the supply chain on dreadnought for integrated systems. The wider integrated project team is c.200
