Setting out Engineer

Daniel Owen are a recruitment business working withing Building and Construction currently sourcing a Setting out Engineer in Yeovil. We are currently working with a main contractor building a large commercial warehouse. they are currently looking for someone to working on setting out the external groundworks package and gatehouse.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Setting out Engineer:

• Knowledge of site calibration checks
• setting out the external groundworks and gatehouse
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• May need to assist with the ordering of concrete
• Quality checks
• As-builts
• Oversee some of the document control aspects
• General site duties

• Skills & Qualifications of a setting out engineer
• Must be degree qualified with a Civil Engineering or Construction related degree
• 3 years' minimum experience within a similar role
• Valid CSCS card
