Simulation Project Lead (Software Project Manager)

The UK's trusted Ministry of Defence partner, MBDA, are looking for an experienced Simulation Project Lead to integrate authentic products, models, and synthetic environments to provide visual demonstration, verification & validation as well as training capability and support. The position is in Stevenage.

What you'll get to do as a Simulation Project Lead:

The role holder will lead a team to deliver innovative solutions using the latest technology to provide an end-to-end representation of the weapon systems through:

• Visualisation and demonstrations
• Experimentation
• Design and development
• Verification and Validation
• Training Systems

What we're looking for:

• Able to coordinate all resources through planning, coordinating, and controlling to deliver on time with validated quality?
• Committed to making AGILE/SCRUM/Six Sigma/DevOps methods of software development a success (proven record of accomplishment 5-10 developers)
• Ability to create strong working relations with the multi-disciplined project environments that we work in.
• Track record of working within an agile / SCRUM / DevOps environment
• Experience reporting progress through agile metrics such as burnup charts, team velocity, cycle times and work-load-forecast.
• Experience in continuous build, integration and delivery pipeline automation using industry-leading toolsets.
• Ideally, a Software Engineering background with some experience in C# and C++.
• You must be a UK national or citizen to be eligible for the role.
