How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
Investigating and troubleshooting production system problems, you????????ll be critical to Worldpay and our customer????????s ongoing success.
We want you to proactively identify improvements and enhancements to working practises and implement automation where possible. This role requires the engineer to work as part of an engineering team to seek resolution of production issues through deep-dive into the application code, using your expertise to implement code improvements and resolve production issues.
The investigation and implementation of solutions will adopt a SWOT style approach to tackle and improve the hot topic areas.

You will share knowledge and seek input from the wider team, taking an enormous amount of pride in your work.
Effective communication is absolutely key, you will encourage and influence those around you rather than dictate.
Whilst attitude and personality are important you????????ll also need experience with some of the key technologies that our applications are built on, including; Java, git, Unix/Linux, Relational Databases (ideally Oracle), and an understanding of client/server topology.
