Job Title: Smart Contract/Blockchain Developer
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: 12 months
Rate: £500 - £550 per day
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for a Smart Contract/Blockchain Developer with 3-5 years of experience in Smart Contract development. This role involves working with Java on Cloud, and requires development experience in DAML and Canton blockchain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support DAML smart contracts and Canton blockchain applications.
- Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and implementation.
- Manage and deliver projects across various SDLC phases, from technical design through to deployment and go-live.
- Support design and integration components, ensuring adherence to architecture standards.
- Lead development and deployment activities, ensuring readiness for production.
- Troubleshoot issues during deployment and ensure smooth operation post-launch.
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in Smart Contract development.
- Hands-on experience with DAML and Canton blockchain.
- Strong knowledge of Java Cloud development and Oracle.
- Familiarity with Investment Banking or Wealth Management products and applications (Money Markets, Funds, Debt Securities).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in end-to-end application delivery.
- Proficient in database design, interface design, and OOAD.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
