Senior Engineer - 12-month contract -Brough - £52.13 p/h UMB or £39.51 p/h PAYE (Inside IR35)

The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.

The Role:

Our client is looking for a Software Engineer to be part of the Hawk Software Team in the development and testing of real-time high integrity software.

Your Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role and this will include but not limited to the following:

• Requirements evaluation and analysis
• Test Script development
• Requirements to Test traceability and coverage analysis
• Verification activities (including but not limited to test, inspection and analysis) and reporting.
• Support documentation and data reviews
• Support system test activities

Your skills and qualifications -

Essential:

• More than 5 years' experience in the development and testing of real-time high integrity software.
• Fast jet experience
• Ada
• Requirements Analysis
• Test Script development and execution
• Configuration control and change management.

Desirable:

• Hawk experience
• User Interface testing
• RTCA/DO-178B or C
• Safety critical testing
