To support Serco's continuous growth and  delivery of world class services, we are currently bidding for a new project in Saudi Arabia and we are looking for a Strategic Planning Subject Matter Expert.

 

This opportunity offers the flexibility of working remotely if you have the right to work/remain in a country where Serco has a legal entity in.

 

The hiring for this position is subject to contract award.

 

Key accountabilities

The Strategic Planning SME will be accountable to the Strategy Project Manager and Programme Director for delivery of a series of strategy-related, mandated (contracted) deliverables, to the client's satisfaction in terms of timeline, quality and budget. They, together with the support of the Strategy Project Team, will also be accountable for stakeholder management. Communication, strategic thinking, and leadership of change. Ability to prepare and formulate strategic and operational plans with skill. Ability to analyse data, extract statistics, and display results. Preparing strategic and operational plans. Help support various departments adopt balanced scorecards and provide the information necessary to facilitate performance measurement.

 

What we are looking for in our candidates:

  • Ability to positively influence key stakeholders within the Contract and business areas.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to liaise in a professional manner with staff at all levels in the organisation and with external parties.

 

Specific requirements

  • Master's in Strategic Planning, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • PRINCE2 qualified or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience of Leadership Development, Strategic Planning and Business Administration consultancy. 
  • In-depth knowledge of strategic planning methods, concepts, and tools.
