Job Title: Supply Chain Manager Restart Wales

 

Location: Hybrid based in Wales with Travel to different sites in Wales

Salary: £41,000-£45,000

As part of our Restart programme we will support participants on their journey to finding sustainable employment, enabling them to progress towards a more secure future. The Restart programme Helps people to get back into work that are long term unemployed   You will be required to travel to around the Wales area visiting the supply chains and making sure they are keeping to Serco standards.

 

The key element of your role as Supply Chain Performance Manager is to performance manage a caseload of Supply Chain Partners ; supporting, developing and challenging them to meet and exceed performance targets and maintain contract compliance in the pursuit of Customer Service Standards and Key Performance Indicators. You'll build strong, collaborative working relationships with supply chain partners; advise and guide; build realistic pipeline reporting; challenge and address under-performance and non-compliance; and facilitate the re-allocation of contract volumes in the event under-performance.  As Performance Manager you will regularly review the supply chain to ensure it is fit for purpose and has the capacity to meet performance targets and will identify and source new supply chain partners, to support areas of under-performance.  You'll work with external stakeholders, providing performance updates at review meetings and supply chain partnership meetings.

 

What you'll need to do the role: 

Ideally you will have experience working in a similar role or have previous experience in supply chain / operational management within the employability, skills or apprenticeships environment. You will have knowledge and experience of delivering employability programmes. We are looking for candidates who have experience of analysing management information and working with reporting systems. You will have excellent communication skills at all levels, using a variety of communication methods (spoken, written, behaviour), along with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
