Serco are currently recruiting for a Surface Finish Technician to join our team at RAF Odiham. The purpose of the role is to support the Tech 2 technician in the delivery of Surface Finish in a wide range of supporting tasks, which include surface preparation (abrading, paint stripping, DMS, masking, cleaning and pre-treatment).

Main Accountabilities:

• Processing work according to schedule set by Line management
• Carrying out a range of basic SF support activities to include abrading, paint stripping, DMS abrasive blasting, masking, cleaning and pre-treatment of substrates requiring paint finishes on MoD assets
• Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Aviation safety requirements, including COSHH and Risk Assessments
• Ensuring that all work undertaken is authorised and documented
• Adhere to all correct trade practices and maintain high standards of workmanship

What you'll need to do the role:

• No specialist skills required, but knowledge or previous experience of working in an engineering environment would be beneficial
• A full driving licence would be beneficial
