Team Manager - Parking Services

Hours: Permanent, 42.5 hours per week
Serco's Parking Services contract provides parking and traffic enforcement across London and works together and forms partnerships to develop, drive and deliver improvements for everyone that lives, works, learns, visits, and invests in West London. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our friendly and successful team.
This role will see you manage all Civil Enforcement Officers, such as Foot, OBCEOs, ANPR, Mobile, Moped & Bicycle Riders and ensure excellent service delivery.
In order to do this, you will supervise the deployment of Civil Enforcement Officers (CEO's) across the London Borough of Ealing, supervise individual CEOs to achieve the service objectives with a high standard of performance, through leadership, selection, motivation, discipline training, appraisal and counselling, supervise the real-time tracking of CEOs and their locations via an electronic mapping system to ensure maximum operational efficiency through better informed deployment and increased management control, undertake regular performance reviews and appraisals of individual CEOs, carry out routine inspections of individual CEOs to ensure compliance with codes of conduct, appearance, and parking policies, and undertake risk assessments so as to protect the health, safety and welfare of staff and those affected by the service.
You will also develop, promote and sustain effective internal and external working relationships, communications and practices that enable positive and collaborative and innovative approaches with customers, community groups, partner organisations, and other agencies and ensure that equal opportunity considerations are actively identified, promoted, and addressed in all aspects of the work undertaken by the service group.
This position is field based, and office based, with 50% of your time spent outside and in the office. Whilst out in the field you will carry out enforcement of vehicles in contravention during daily patrols and respond to all Client Operational Req uests and queries as at when required.
What You Need To Do The Job:
First and foremost you should be an experienced Team Leader or Supervisor with a BTECH Level 2 in Parking or equivalent and knowledge of TMA 2004 and other relevant Parking Legislations.
You should have minimum grade C in English and Maths, with good interpersonal skills and able to act with tact, sensitivity and diplomacy.
Please note, this role will see you walking in excess of 10 miles per day in all weather conditions including rain, snow, etc. You must be physically able to cover this distance to be considered for this role.
