Do you have technical clerking experience with the following skills:
-IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
-Excellent technical report/minutes writing skills
-Knowledge and use of an electronic ordering system
The UK Atomic Energy Authority have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Clerk to join the IT department. The role will be accountable and responsible for:
-managing and developing CODAS & IT documentation with regard to project records, equipment records, technical control documentation and work control requirements
-the creation and overall management of key documentation for projects
-managing the recording, placing and tracking of requisitions/purchase orders for IT products and/or services
-supporting the department / project managers with change management - being proactive in document changes, ensuring team members have full understanding of their inputs.
-technical secretary duties, including organising technical meetings, taking minutes and tracking action follow up.
-providing support and cover for CODAS & IT departmental secretary if required

Knowledge skills and experience
- HNC or equivalent in a technical, business or IT discipline
- IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- Excellent technical report/minutes writing skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise work and work under pressure
- Be able to work autonomously, with initiative and minimum supervision
- Be flexible and able to work across several projects and in several different teams
-Experience of purchasing systems
-Project Management / Support experience
-MS Project experience advantageous
-Experience of quality management or systems in a technical environment.
