£23,000 - £27,000 per annum plus benefits
Here at Serco, we are looking for a Technical Compliance & CAFM Assistant to join our growing team at Darent Valley Hospital. The site is a 478-bed, acute district general hospital in Dartford, Kent, serving a local population of over 500,000 people.
As a Technical Compliance & CAFM Assistant, you will report to the Technical Compliance Manager and join the team in carrying out varied administration duties. You will be a key member of the team ensuring safe, efficient, and effective maintenance is provided to the hospital. A major part of the role is to help to manage and monitor the CAFM system, ensuring all information is kept up to date and accurate. You will also be interrogating the system and running reports to provide crucial updates around on-going works. Most training will be carried out on site but, there may be occasions, when you will need to travel off site for courses.
What you'll need to do the role:
This is a fast paced, demanding role, which will require a high level of attention to detail, so experience in this type of role is beneficial, however, not essential. You will be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work on your own initiative whilst interfacing with senior management, operational teams, and client contact points. You will need good communication skills, both verbal and written, and be process driven. Due to the nature of this role, you will have expert knowledge in core Microsoft office IT Skills and be especially proficient in Excel.
The role will require you to sometimes visit areas that are occupied by patients and visitors, so discretion is always required, and patient privacy and dignity will be at the forefront of everything that you do, a Basic DBS disclosure will also be required.
