Full Time, 37 hours per week

Between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Role:

 

The Technical Leadprovides technical leadership and administration for the M365 services connected to the companies' tenants. This is inclusive off but not limited to Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, Intune, azure app registrations, policies, and settings within the space.  It covers ensuring service requests and incidents are appropriately executed and the live service environment is correctly operating. 

 

The role will entail liaising with Microsoft, other technical teams and or 3rd Parties to address business needs.  They will report into the M365 Standard Service manager for governance and support.  Upon securing this role, the Technical Lead will join a dynamic team to help lead the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft 365 services and other collaborative tools on a large enterprise scale. 

 

 


As part of this you'll:

 

  • Provide administration support for UK and Europe's M365 Tenants to include the Azure Active Directory platform, AD Sync services, and Exchange online services
  • Manage Windows Servers in an Azure Environment assigned to the Collaboration service in partnership with a 3rdParty
  • Oversees tenant settings, policies, and configurations within the M365 and Azure AD platform
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the service architecture and supporting documents
  • Works with partners/3rd parties and engineering teams to document how the technology is designed and deployed for the service, constantly working with internal and external teams to improve technical configurations and keep them up to date
  • Works closely with Operations teams, Service Delivery, and in some cases, the Global 365 team, to ensure alignment of technology integration with business objectives in accordance with approved standards and policies
  • Ensure achievement of service level targets to understand issues, resolve problems and improve performance
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by constantly scanning/reviewing the market, attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.  Particularly keeping up with the Microsoft technical articles and published roadmap of changes to the platform.

 

 

 


What you'll need to do the role:

 

  • Overall 8+ years of progressive IT experience with 2+ years of Systems Administration supporting an M365 environment with a strong understanding how the 365 applications and services interact with each other
  • This is the function of a Global Administrator in 365
  • Have broad knowledge of IT technologies such as, but not limited to, 365 Apps, Active Directory, Azure (as it relates to 365), Email, Unified Communications, Networking, Windows Server, Mobile device support-Intune, Security
  • Operating within a Windows Server OS
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting Exchange and/or Hybrid Exchange service.  Be able to speak to and understand terminology such as DMARC, DKIM, Spoofing
  • Ability to manage and understand concepts of Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign On (SSO), Conditional Access policies, Security MFA Tokens
  • Experience in implementing a continuous improvement strategy for the supported product lines, new applications and/or services
  • Demonstrated skills in writing technical documentation of the environment at an enterprise scale
  • Technical Architecture experience a plus
  • Good oral and presentation skills with comfort in presenting to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate technical procedures in business terms so that the customer understands
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Familiar with App registrations within Azure AD
  • Strong troubleshooting skills such as looking at log data to determine root causes of problems.
  • Experience in managing service tickets to maintain SLAs and improve customer satisfaction
  • Proficient in PowerShell Scripting required
  • Industry certifications are a plus
  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field or equal work experience.
