Your Opportunity  

We are currently bidding for a prestigious new project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and we are looking for a Technical Libraries Technician who will will support the PMO Manager in all administration as well as document control activities using specialist Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) to safely store and distribute documentation in accordance to their hierarchy and sensitivity.


The purpose of the project under this contract is to provide consulting and management support to a Ministry in KSA with the necessary tools to manage and maintain assets and facilities, through improving activities to meet service requirements, developing business strategies that ensure reducing costs of the life cycle of assets, and improving practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness. It includes but not limited to long-term management of assets, facilities, resources and services to improve performance, reduce costs and manage the life cycle. In brief, the scope is for the provision of consulting, technical, management and administrative support for facilities and asset management works.


The Ministry is in the process of developing and executing a transformation program. This program involves transitioning from the management of operations and maintenance contracts to the management of contracts related to assets and facilities. The Ministry' primary objective is to achieve maximum value and benefit for the life cycle of assets and facilities within their estate.


The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of instituting continuous improvement.


The hiring for this position is subject to contract award.


Key Accountabilities

  • Organize and maintain technical libraries, ensuring documents are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Assist in the digitalization of documents and the management of digital library systems.
  • Support the development and implementation of information management policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance to staff and stakeholders in locating technical documents.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure documentation meets project and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of the library to ensure compliance with information management standards.
  • Act as gatekeeper of certain documentation depending on sensitivity
  • Support in the development of a library coding and storage process.
  • Ensure consistency of Document Management working practices within the team
  • Ensure the distribution of hard copy and electronic documents is carried out
  • Oversee the control and recording of correspondence with the Entities and Contractors/Consultants
  • Review and analyse all Document Control processes to identify potential areas for improvement.


Specific Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in quality services and studies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field is preferable.
  • Practical experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Prior experience in managing and building teams
