Tool Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

Work under general supervision with a Workshop environment carrying out maintenance diagnoses and repairs

Responsibilities

  • Participate as part of an integrated tool maintenance and calibration team, responsible to execute planned, corrective, fault finding and repair activities on a range of plant operations tooling and equipment in a safe, timely and quality manner to maximise plant and equipment availability, maintain asset integrity and achieve business objectives.
  • Undertake preparation of equipment to company standards in a safe manner for use within an operational environment
  • Carry out daily housekeeping of workplace and tools to ensure a clean working environment

Skill Set

Essential

  • A HNC in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • A background in mechanical, electrical or automated equipment maintenance
  • Experience in hazard identification and control and have a safety-first mindset
  • Good communication interpersonal skills in English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Experience of computerised maintenance management systems
