    Full Time, Permanent (37 hours per week)

    £35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus benefits

     

    Serco Defence are currently recruiting for an experienced TPS-77 Radars Engineer to join the team at Brizlee Wood, Northumberland. This role will be responsible for maintaining the TPS-77 Radar at Brizlee Wood ensuring that KPI targets, quality compliance, safety, continuous improvement, and other contractual obligations are met at site.

     

    Main responsibilities of the role include:

    • Deliver 1st line preventative maintenance and 1st/2nd line corrective maintenance on the TPS-77 Radar Systems.
    • Provide out of hours call out to support radar availability.
    • Maintain and review radar technical manuals.
    • Maintain and manage all tools and test equipment required to support TPS-77 systems.
    • Spares management of the Brizlee Wood inventory.
    • Provide a site support to Lockheed Martin when required.

     

    What you'll need to do the role:

    • Hold a recognised Electronics or Electrical qualification.
    • Minimum two years TPS-77 radar experience.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with the RAF and other stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
    • Proven track record of successful maintenance of radar systems.
    • Proven and practical understanding of service delivery.
    • Ability to work well within a team.
    • Innovative thinker.
    • Must be able to achieve SC/DV Security Clearance prior to appointment, Serco will arrange this on your behalf.
