Serco Rail Technical Services (SRTS) is a leader in the provision of independent rail technical expertise, working with organisations in the rail sector nationally and internationally including government, rail infrastructure maintainers, rolling stock companies, train operators and equipment manufacturers. We uniquely can apply more than 50 years of experience to provide engineering services, training services, and digital services to our customers in the rail industry both in the UK and abroad.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic Manager to lead our Training Services Team. You will be customer facing and responsible for meeting our contractual agreements to deliver training courses from our Training School based at Derby and our customer sites. You will have experience of managing staff in a commercial context as well as demonstrating successful engagement and delivery of services to customers.
This is a role offering variety because as well as leading and developing the team you will be regularly engaging directly with our customers, discover new opportunities, and ensuring the workplace, training facilities, tools and equipment are all maintained.
You will need to hit the ground running for immediate success into the team so you must thrive in a fast paced, high-energy environment and be adept at identifying potential opportunities to continually develop and meet existing targets.
