Warehouse Cleaner

Blue Arrow are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners to work at a large distribution centre based in Motherwell.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

* Sweep, mop, and vacuum warehouse floors.

* Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and staff areas.

* Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.

* Dust and wipe down surfaces, shelving, and equipment.

* Maintain cleaning supplies and report shortages.

* Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

* Assist with spill clean-ups and minor hazards promptly.

* Report maintenance issues or damages to supervisors.

🛠️ Skills & Competencies

* Attention to detail and thoroughness.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling.

* Good time management and organizational skills.

* Physical stamina to perform manual tasks.

📚 Qualifications & Experience

* Previous cleaning experience (preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting).

* Basic understanding of health and safety practices.

👤 Personal Attributes

* Reliable and punctual.

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

* Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks.

* Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.

⏰ Working Conditions

* Based in warehouse environment (can include exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures).

* 10pm-6am 5 nights over 7

* Use of cleaning equipment and protective gear.

The pay rate is £12.60 per hour
