Warehouse Cleaner

Blue Arrow are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners to work at a large distribution site based in Lutterworth, LE17.

📌 Position Overview

The Warehouse Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness across the warehouse facility. This role ensures a safe and efficient working environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and supporting warehouse operations.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

* Sweep, mop, and vacuum warehouse floors to maintain cleanliness.

* Clean and sanitize restrooms, staff areas, and break rooms.

* Empty bins and manage waste disposal in line with company procedures.

* Dust and wipe down surfaces, shelving, and equipment.

* Ensure walkways, loading bays, and storage areas are free from hazards.

* Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages to supervisors.

* Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

* Assist with minor maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing light bulbs, reporting damages).

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

* Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred.

* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling practices.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

* Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift light loads.

* Good communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with warehouse staff.

🕒 Working Conditions:

* Full Time & Part Time work available 7 days a week

We have the following shifts available:

6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm & 10pm-6am

* Warehouse environment with exposure to dust, packaging materials, and machinery.

* Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

💷 Salary & Benefits (example placeholders)

* Days: £15 per hour

* Nights: £16 per hour
