We now have an exciting opportunity to join one of the South West's leading employers as a Waste Water Scientist based from our Dowrglann office in St Austell.
[b]What will you be doing?[/b]
As a Waste Water Scientist, you will provide scientific operational support to the area team in order to deliver process optimisation, delivery of chemical and energy efficiencies and implementation monitoring and control of trade effluent policy.
You'll also to provide advice and support to the area delivery team regarding appropriate response to environmental risks and liaison with the Environment Agency. The Waste Water Scientist will report on asset / process efficiency and identify cost saving opportunities.
This is an operational scientific role; therefore, you'll need to be happy being out in the field as well as working in an office environment.

*Experience of working within a scientific environment *Ability to apply theory to a practical scenario and be able to develop and test theories and revise if necessary *An HNC or equivalent in a scientific discipline *Professional understanding of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook *Ability to apply theory to a practical scenario and be able to develop and test theories and revise if necessary *The ability to identify and implement 'best practice' *Ability to prioritise work in accordance with the ever changing demands of a highly reactive environment. *Experience of working within the Water Industry would be advantageous *Full UK Drivers Licence and prepared to travel throughout the region
