Apprentice trained fabricator welder required that is able to carry out general engineering tasks assisting current welders to coded standards as required
Successful candidates will be manufacturing large high tension cable connections. The ideal candidate will have experience of MMA (Stick) Welding, Braising & gas welding skills would be an advantage. The work will primarily be on Mild Steel although it could also involve work on Stainless Steel between 1.6mm - 4.00mm.
Fabrication skills would be desirable in addition to a willingness to do what is required to get work completed such as hand grinding and possible some simple machine shop experience
This contract is for 6-12 Months initially but could go on longer depending on work volumes.
An NVQ Level 3 is essential to this role.
Hours: (39 per week)
7.15am - 4.15pm (Monday to Thursday)
7.15am - 12.15pm (Friday)
Salary:
£20 per hour via Umbrella.
MIT: Welding experience
