Workforce Analyst 
Solihull - Hybrid
Full Time, Permanent 

Between £25,000-£35,000 per annum (dependant on experience)   

 

Here at Serco, we are seeking a Resourcing Reporting Analyst to support the Resourcing team. You will provide technical expertise and hands on development of People-related reports, dashboards and analytics, as well as conducting individual pieces of analysis to support Serco's temporary labour management team; Serco Workforce Solutions (SWS) and Talent Acquisition team. You will work within the People Reporting and Analytics team to enable the most effective use of People data within Serco, to drive business decision making, change and strategic planning.

 


As part of this you'll:

 

  • Provide reporting and analysis on an ad-hoc basis for the Talent Acquisition team
  • Design, build and support self-service reports and dashboards to enable the Talent Acquisition team to manage recruitment effectively and efficiently
  • Become a subject matter expert on the source systems used for, and data held on, Talent Acquisition within Serco
  • Provide reporting and analysis on an ad-hoc basis for the Talent Acquisition team
  • Design, build and support self-service reports and dashboards to enable the Serco Workforce Solutions team to effectively and efficiently manage the temporary labour workforce
  • Become a subject matter expert on the source systems used for, and data held on, temporary labour within Serco
  • Design and build solutions to support with demand planning and forecasting of temporary labour requirements across the business
  • Support the People Reporting and Analytics Lead in the development and execution of the wider People Reporting & Analytics strategy
  • Work with customers across HR to translate business requirements into reporting/analytics solution design
  • Conduct detailed analysis of key issues related to the Serco workforce, including pay, attrition, engagement, absence, performance and recruitment
  • Support the integration of temporary labour data into wider Serco People reporting, including providing SME support to ITS as temporary labour systems are integrated into corporate reporting tools such as SAP Business Warehouse
  • Identify and realise opportunities to streamline the existing reporting delivery and the methods of delivering reports and dashboards to customer

 


What you'll need to do the role:
 

  • Knowledge and experience of development within business intelligence platforms and tools
  • Strong data visualisation and presentation skills
  • Data manipulation skills, including ability to extract, transform, and analyse multiple large data sets
  • Ability to problem solve, break down complex issues and develop solutions based on findings in the data
  • Communication skills with ability to translate complex issues or insights to non-technical customers, and senior leaders
  • High customer focus with commercial awareness and a drive to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience of using SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud and/or Microsoft Power BI is desirable
