This is a lead role within the Technical Architecture team which has accountability for technology strategy and roadmap within the Modern Workplace Platform domain.

Reporting to GDS Product Group CTO, the technology programme is boosting efficiency, strengthening security, and improving developer experience by providing infrastructure, tools and standards.

As a GDS Technical Architect, you’ll share the responsibility for the digital transformation of government. ou’ll ensure a project’s overall technical design meets user needs and acceptance criteria, whilst conforming to time and budget constraints.

Your role will sit within the Service Design & Transition team, and you will provide service design and transition expertise to projects and programmes, advising and gathering requirements, agreeing the path to live, and any milestones required.
