Ex-Military Careers were amongst the few organisations cordially invited to attend a Royal reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by Princes William and Harry and attended by HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
James Lawrence, CEO of Ex-Military Careers said "It was such an honour to have been invited to the reception and be part of such a distinguished group. The evening was incredible and to have had our Jobs Board service commended in person by Her Majesty the Queen and both Princes is our greatest achievement to date. We are extremely proud. This business was started purely to help those that have served for our country and we want to offer them as much support as we possibly can. To have that recognised so early on is...well it's the ultimate accolade really. We shall continue to work long and hard for the benefit of these brave and Men and Women."
The reception was held to mark the contribution of all the organisations involved in the medical care, recovery and rehabilitation of British Servicemen and Servicewomen during operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, either to enable them to return to duty or to make a successful transition into civilian life.
Others also in attendance were the 'Help For Heroes' Charity, the Royal British Legion, the Benevolant Funds Of The Army.
The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry are Patrons of a number of charitable organisations that aim to support servicemen and women. The Armed Forces is also one of the key areas supported by the philanthropic activities of the Royal Foundation: http://www.royalfoundation.com/our-work/armed-forces/
