We are currently recruiting for 3.5t Drivers locally based in Newbury RG14 on the following details:

Newbury RG14, Hambridge Lane
Hours:
Monday - Friday
Contract:
Temporary ongoing - full-time hours
Pay Rate:
Standard: £13ph (PAYE)
Overtime: £19.50ph (PAYE)
Main Duties
- Loading and unloading parcels from a 3.5T van at the depot.
- Completing daily collections and deliveries within allocated routes and timescales.
- Using handheld scanners to track parcel movements and obtain proof of delivery.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and ensuring the van is roadworthy.
- Providing professional customer service when interacting with businesses and residential customers.
- Safely handling parcels, with some items weighing up to 25-30kg.
- Following company procedures and maintaining accurate delivery records.
Skills & Experience
- Full UK driving licence (normally held for at least 12 months).
- Good geographical knowledge and route-planning skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physically fit due to regular lifting and loading duties
