A B Produce PLC - Class 1 Driver

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a busy operation based in Measham (DE12), offering ongoing, ad hoc and temp-to-perm opportunities. This role involves UK-wide deliveries across a variety of trailer types including curtain siders, box trailers, flatbeds and tankers. With flexible working patterns, competitive pay rates and immediate starts available, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced C+E Drivers seeking regular work.

Role Overview

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will complete nationwide deliveries across multiple transport operations. Drivers will have the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle and trailer types, with tanker training available where required. This role offers flexibility alongside ongoing work and potential permanent opportunities.

Shift Patterns

• Day and night shifts available
• Flexible working patterns
• Ongoing, ad hoc and temp-to-perm opportunities
• Shifts of up to 12 hours
• Weekend work available
• Immediate starts available

Pay and Benefits

• Days: £16.20 per hour
• Nights: £17.20 per hour
• Weekly pay every Friday

Responsibilities

• Complete UK-wide deliveries safely and efficiently
• Operate curtain sider, box, flatbed and tanker vehicles
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensure compliance with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
