Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00

Role Overview
The Administrator is responsible for managing Reactive Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance (PM) Works, and follow-on services for public buildings under Warrington Borough Council. This role functions as the operational hub, issuing work orders, coordinating services, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring delivery aligns with contract KPIs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as first contact for clients reporting urgent issues and requesting updates
- Issue and monitor reactive and PM work orders according to contract terms
- Plan and organise scheduled maintenance tasks
- Identify additional works and submit quotations through the approvals process
- Respond to and escalate queries received via the shared inbox
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices in line with policy
- Update documentation and close completed work orders
- Monitor operative performance and reassign tasks when necessary
- Track approvals and issue follow-on work accordingly
- Recommend and implement service improvements
- Collaborate with colleagues to support team-wide compliance
Skills & Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience supporting operational teams and managing workloads
- Proven attention to detail and organisation under pressure
- Ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of health and safety and compliance procedures
