💼 Salary & Hours
* Base Salary: £28,000 per annum
* Shift Allowance: £82.76 per week
* Total Package: £32,303 per annum
* Hours: Monday to Friday (Day shifts, with afternoon shifts every 3 weeks)
✈️ About the Role
Join a team specializing in the repair and overhaul of Commercial Aircraft Thrust Reversers and Nacelles, with OEM, UKCAA, and EASA-approved repairs. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where quality, safety, and precision are paramount.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
* Perform MRO and production tasks to high standards (Quality, Cost, Delivery)
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SOPs
* Maintain airworthiness and accurate documentation
* Support projects and continuous improvement initiatives
* Adapt to various shift patterns and business needs
* Work independently and collaboratively within a team
🛠️ Required Experience
* Background in mechanical engineering, airframe technology, or car mechanics
* Skills in fabrication, sheet metal forming, riveting, fastening, drilling, and counter-sinking
* Strong arithmetic and English skills with attention to detail
* Ability to follow precise written instructions
* Previous mechanical experience is essential
* Aerospace experience or skills in painting, bonding, and mechanical assembly are highly desirable
* Proficiency with tools, machinery, and computers is preferred
