A well-established joinery manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Bench Joiner to support continued growth.
Working within a skilled workshop team, you'll be manufacturing bespoke joinery products from technical drawings, producing high-quality work for a range of commercial and bespoke projects.
This position would suit a time-served Bench Joiner, Cabinet Maker or experienced Joinery Manufacturer looking for a long-term opportunity within a busy and expanding business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke joinery products from technical drawings
- Produce cabinetry, furniture and custom joinery items to exact specifications
- Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Assemble and finish products to a high standard
- Work with materials including MDF, MFC, plywood, hardwoods and softwoods
- Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
- Work independently and as part of a workshop team
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years' bench joinery experience
- Time-served Bench Joiner, Cabinet Maker or equivalent background
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- Experience using workshop machinery such as:
- Panel saws
- Spindle moulders
- Edge banders
- Routers
- Other woodworking machinery
- Strong attention to detail
- Pride in producing high-quality finished products
- Reliable and able to work independently
