Whether building new walls, restoring existing masonry, or working as part of a larger construction team, I enjoy seeing a project progress from the ground up and knowing that my craftsmanship plays a key role in the finished result.

Key Responsibilities

• Constructing brick, block, and stone structures to precise specifications and building regulations.
• Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, site plans, and technical documentation.
• Measuring, marking, and cutting materials accurately to ensure quality workmanship.
• Mixing and applying mortar consistently to create strong and visually appealing finishes.
• Building foundations, cavity walls, retaining walls, extensions, and structural features.
• Repairing, restoring, and repointing damaged or ageing brickwork.
• Installing lintels, damp-proof courses, insulation, and reinforcement materials where required.
• Collaborating with site managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Conducting quality checks throughout construction to ensure structural integrity and high standards.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised manner.
