Caretaker

We are currently recruiting for a part-time Caretaker for our client based in Sunderland, this would be an immediate start, offering an initial 6-month placement

This is a hands-on role where the successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep, security and general maintenance of large industrial sites in Sunderland and the surrounding areas

A company vehicle will be provided to travel between sites, but you must have a full UK Driving License and meet the criteria for the insurance

Duties:

• Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks across multiple client sites
• External grounds maintenance duties such as spraying weeds, mowing the garden areas
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance work, ensuring issues are resolved promptly
• Conduct health and safety checks and ensure compliance with site procedures
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and site-related issues
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Rates:

• £15-£15.50ph depending on experience

Shifts:

• Part time - 24hrs per week
• Flexibility between 3 or 4 days per week
• Initial 6 month placement
