Caretaker - Stevenage

Key Responsibilities Caretaker

• Clean and maintain communal areas and residential blocks.
• Carry out routine inspections and report hazards, repairs, and anti-social behaviour.
• Remove waste, including fly-tipping, and maintain safe, tidy environments.
• Use mobile devices to record completed work and report issues.
• Follow health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
• Support residents and liaise professionally with contractors and external agencies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in care taking, cleaning, estate maintenance, facilities, or a similar role.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.
• Basic IT skills, including the use of smartphones or handheld devices.
• Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented approach.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
