Job Role: Class 1 Driver

Location: Belfast

Pay rate: £19 standard, £21.71 unsociable hours (7pm-8am), £28.50 overtime rate after 40 hours

Shifts: variation on hours to suit business needs

Blue Arrow are recruiting for a Class 1 relief driver for a client operating within the logistics sector based in Belfast. This will be an immediate start for temporary ongoing work. The role will include completing pre departure vehicle checks, transporting goods, completing paperwork and following compliance, and, adhering to tachograph and working times rules.

As a relief driver you will be covering one of the following runs each week:

- Mon-Fri 5am-1pm runs between the Belfast depot and Belfast International Airport or Cookstown

- Mon-Fri 1pm-9pm runs between Belfast depot and Belfast International Airport or Cookstown

- Mon-Fri 6pm-3am runs between Belfast depot / Belfast International Airport and down to Dublin

You will have:

- category C+E license with no more than 6 points

- valid CPC & digi cards

- recent class 1 driving experience

- a positive working attitude

- flexibility to suit to business needs

- subject to basic Access NI check and additional vetting (5-year address & work history)
