Are you an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver looking for a fantastic short-term opportunity with one of the world's most recognised logistics and supply chain organisations?

We are recruiting professional, reliable and safety-focused drivers to support increased demand over the coming weeks from our client's busy operation in Kendal. If you enjoy straightforward trunking work, modern vehicles and being part of a world-class transport network, this could be the perfect role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Completing trunk runs between distribution centres and customer sites
• Driving modern, well-maintained Class 1 vehicles
• Working with double decker trailers (experience essential)
• Delivering a professional and safe service at all times
• Completing all vehicle checks and transport documentation accurately

What's on Offer?

• £15.87 per hour
• Monday to Friday working pattern
• Day shifts starting between 06:00 and 07:00
• Average 10-hour shifts
• No handball involved - predominantly trunking work
• Opportunity to work with a globally recognised employer
• Friendly transport team and excellent support from site management
• Immediate starts available following successful assessment

Essential Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Proven experience operating double decker trailers
• Strong understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
• Professional, customer-focused attitude
• Excellent safety awareness

Assessment Process

To ensure the highest standards of safety and professionalism, all drivers will be required to complete:

• Theory assessment
• Practical driving assessment

Successful completion of both assessments will be required before bookings can be confirmed.
