Class 1 Driver

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing supermarket and distribution centre deliveries, offering pre-booked shifts and flexible full-time or part-time opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified C+E Drivers looking for consistent work, planned schedules and competitive rates of pay

Role Overview

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will complete a mixture of trunking and store deliveries to supermarket outlets and regional distribution hubs. With regular shifts planned in advance, this role provides excellent work-life balance and consistent earning potential.

Shift Patterns

• Monday to Sunday operation
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Choose the days that suit you
• Start times from 04:00 onwards
• Typical shift length of 10-12 hours
• Pre-booked weekly schedules
• Ongoing work available

Pay and Benefits

• £18.02 per hour weekdays
• £22.05 per hour weekends

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to supermarket stores and regional distribution centres
• Complete a combination of trunking and store delivery work
• Carry out between 1 and 4 drops per shift
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
• Follow pre-planned routes supported by telematics
• Complete all transport documentation accurately
• Adhere to Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Deliver a professional service at all times

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Commitment to safe driving practices
• Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply
