Class 1 Driver (HGV Class 1) - Harlow

Location: Harlow, Essex

Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour (holiday pay accrued separately)

Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts starting at 4:00am

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Harlow, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking ongoing work with a structured shift pattern and competitive rates of pay.

The role involves completing multi-drop deliveries to retail stores, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule while providing excellent customer service.

Week 1

• Monday
• Tuesday
• Wednesday
• Thursday

Week 2

• Wednesday
• Thursday
• Friday
• Saturday

Week 3

• Monday
• Tuesday
• Friday
• Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to retail locations using roll cages
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Adhere to all driving regulations and company procedures
• Manage manual handling tasks as required
• Deliver to a variety of locations, including some tight urban areas
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times

Training & Induction

• Full assessment and induction required prior to commencement
• Comprehensive 2-week buddy training programme provided

Requirements

Applicants must hold:

• A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• A strong commitment to safety and customer service
