Class 1 Driver

🚛 CLASS 1 DRIVERS NEEDED - STOKE-ON-TRENT (ST5) 🚛

Assessments taking place next week!

We're recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an ongoing contract in the ST5 area, with work available through to January and potential extensions beyond.

✅ £18.52 - £19.66 per hour

✅ Overtime paid at 1.5x after 8 hours daily

✅ Guaranteed minimum 8-hour pay

✅ Regular, pre-booked shifts

✅ No handball involved

✅ Full-time & part-time opportunities available

The Role

• Driving double-decker HGVs on nationwide DC deliveries
• Up to 3 trailer swaps per shift
• Combination of trunking and store deliveries
• Daily vehicle checks and transport paperwork
• Following planned routes supported by telematics

Available Start Times

We're particularly looking for drivers available for:

🕑 14:00

🕞 15:30

🕓 16:00

🕚 23:00

🕛 00:00

Shift Information

• Monday to Sunday operation
• Must be able to work at least one weekend day
• Typical shift length of 10-12 hours
• Weekly schedules provided in advance

Pay Rates

💰 £18.52 per hour (04:00 - 12:59)

💰 £19.66 per hour (13:00 - 03:59)

💰 1.5x overtime after 8 hours worked per day

Requirements

✔ Class 1 (C+E) licence held for 12 months+

✔ Valid CPC Card

✔ Digital Tachograph Card

✔ Reliable and professional attitude

✔ Commitment to safe driving practices
