Class 1 Drivers

At Blue Arrow we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers on a temporary basis, with opportunities for ongoing work for the right candidates.

Our client is based on the outskirts of Newcastle, is an extremely attractive company to work for in the North East and often fill permanent positions with Blue Arrows agency drivers.

Pay rates:

Mon to Sat Weekdays: 06:00 - 18:00 = £13.51ph

Mon to Sat Weeknights: 18:00 - 06:00 = £16.89ph

Sunday = £27.02

OT activated after 39 weekly hours = £20.27

Above rates are subject to a yearly review with a client.

Day shift, back shift and night shift work is available with differing starts times across the day.

Volumes may fluctuate week to week for this client however they are entering the busiest period of the year.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As a LGV Category C+E Driver you will:

* Complete pre departure vehicle checks
* Transport goods between planned sites and drops
* Complete paperwork and follow compliance
* Adhere to tachograph and working times rules

Qualifications

In order to process your application, you must have the following:

* HGV Class 1 entitlement
* CPC
* Digi tacho card

We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR on a licence.
