Class 1 Onsite Shunter Required

Blue Arrow, in partnership with XPO, is recruiting Class 1 Onsite Shunters for a busy logistics operation based in YO17 8PQ.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional transport team, working within a fast-paced distribution environment responsible for high-volume trailer movements across a busy site.

Night Shifts

Monday to Friday
18:00 - 06:00
12-hour shifts
Ongoing, regular work available

Pay Rate

£16.75 per hour
PAYE
Holiday accrual

The Role

Moving trailers safely around a busy distribution site
High-volume trailer movements throughout the shift
Parking and positioning trailers within designated areas
Supporting transport and warehouse operations
Ensuring trailers are available for loading and dispatch
Working closely with transport and warehouse teams
Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety standards at all times
Contributing to the smooth running of a fast-paced logistics operation

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Previous onsite shunting experience preferred
Terberg experience advantageous
Good awareness of health and safety procedures
Ability to work effectively within a busy operational environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
