Class 1 Tramping

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing tramping work in the YO17 area, completing UK-wide general haulage deliveries to depots and customer sites. This is an excellent opportunity for C+E Drivers seeking regular Monday to Friday work, modern vehicles and competitive rates of pay, with ongoing assignments available.

Role Overview

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing nationwide general haulage deliveries using planned routes and schedules. Working with a professional transport operation, you'll benefit from reliable workloads, a modern fleet and consistent Monday to Friday shifts.

Shift Patterns

Monday to Friday
06:00 start times
Approximately 10-hour shifts
Day tramping required
Ongoing work available

Pay and Benefits

£18.07 per hour
Regular Monday to Friday work

Responsibilities

Complete UK-wide general haulage deliveries
Deliver to depots and customer locations nationwide
Ensure safe and compliant operation of Class 1 vehicles
Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
Complete all paperwork and digital records accurately
Deliver a professional level of customer service
Follow Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations

Requirements

Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
Valid Driver CPC Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
3 months' Class 1 experience preferred
Less experience may be considered
Reliable and professional attitude
Commitment to safe and compliant driving practices
