Blue Arrow in partnership with XPO is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Burton for the upcoming Boots peak period. This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing, well-paid trunking work with a leading logistics provider.

We have pre-booked Class 1 driving routes available throughout the entire peak period, offering consistent work across a 7-day operation.

Job Details

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Burton upon Trent

Start Date: Week commencing July 2026 (assessments from Week 2)

Contract Type: Peak period / ongoing work

Pay Rates: £17.40 to £24.80 per hour plus holiday accrual

Assessment: Paid assessments and inductions (subject to passing)

HGV Driver Role Overview

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be completing trunking work for a major retail logistics contract. This role involves minimal manual handling and offers flexible shift patterns to suit your availability.

Candidate Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

Assessments and Inductions

Assessments and inductions will take place from Week 2 of July 2026 at our Burton site. All assessments are paid, subject to successful completion.
