Class 2 Driver

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a well established client with three separate roles across three different sites in Llanelli, Llaneilo and Cardiff. The role is Mon-Fri with a morning shift every other Saturday. This is a great opportunity to join an ever growing business in South Wales. Candidates must have a relevant Class 2 license.

Duties

 To maintain a good, smart appearance, wearing the uniform provided for work.

 To be polite and helpful when dealing with customers.

 To hold a driving licence that is valid and qualifies you to drive the company vehicle.

 To carry out a daily vehicle inspection, and complete and hand in the vehicle nil defects report.

 To secure any load the vehicle is carrying for the safety and security of products carried, the vehicle and other road users.

 To sheet load with tarpaulins provided if there is any chance whatsoever of the load being damaged by the weather.

 To be responsible for the stock being carried on the vehicle and for carrying the correct documentation. The driver must carry a document for every item on the vehicle.

 Where goods are delivered to an account customer, goods must not under any circumstances be left on site without a signature unless authorized by the Branch Manager.
