Type:: £15.99 PH - PAYE Weekly pay

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Class 2 Driver to deliver building products to customers across the UK. This role requires exceptional driving standards, strong customer service skills, and strict adherence to all Health & Safety requirements. As a key representative of our client, you will uphold professional standards at every delivery location.


Key Responsibilities

Driving & Delivery

  • Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries of building materials across the UK.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload goods in line with company and legal guidelines.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects immediately.
  • Ensure all delivery notes, manifests, and paperwork are completed accurately and on time.

Customer Service & Representation

  • Act as an ambassador for the client, maintaining a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service when delivering to trade sites, merchants, and direct customer locations.
  • Work collaboratively with site staff and customers to ensure smooth and safe delivery of materials.

Health & Safety

  • Follow all Health & Safety protocols, including manual handling, load securing, and site‑specific safety rules.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant vehicle at all times.
  • Use appropriate PPE and comply with risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Report near misses, incidents, or hazards promptly.

Compliance

  • Adhere to UK driving regulations, including tachograph laws and Working Time Directive.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Previous experience delivering building or construction products advantageous
  • Strong understanding of safe load securing and manual handling.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
