Class 2 Driver

Job Role: Class 2 Driver

Location: Mallusk

Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour standard; £21.95 per hour overtime

Hours: 6am-finish (39 standard hours per week with overtime rate paid after 50 hours)

Type: Temporary to Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity to join a successful growing team at our client's Mallusk site for full time HGV Class 2. This client is Ireland's leading Metal Finishing Company. The client has subsidiaries and branches throughout Ireland, employing over 180 people and providing the construction & commercial industry with quality products and services. As an HGV Class 2 driver you will deliver and collect goods across Northern Ireland. All training on company systems and procedures will be provided to ensure the successful candidate reaches the highest level of performance.

Your responsibilities:

* Load vehicles for deliveries ensuring health & safety regulations/procedures are adhered to including weights and safe loading.

* Ensure tracking procedure is used.

* Maintaining the driving hour's rules & regulations regarding tachographs/Working Time Directives.

* Competency of paperwork, delivery notes signed & dated etc.

* High Level of Customer Service, aiming to exceed customer expectations.

You will have:

* Class 2 license with 1 plus years' experience

* Driver CPC & Digi cards

* Have a customer focused approach

* Basic level of education

* Experience strapping & chaining of loads
